Acropolis Team Brings Real Estate & Sustainability to First Graders at Bird Rock Elementary School. BRE

Last week, two members of the Acropolis team, Al Gueddar and Gehovan Guzman, brought the world of real estate and sustainability to an unexpected — and absolutely adorable — audience: the first graders at Bird Rock Elementary School in La Jolla!

As part of a special classroom presentation, Al and Gehovan shared their knowledge and enthusiasm for real estate investments and home renovation process. The team also discussed the different types of homes, and the importance of building sustainable communities right here in San Diego. While these might sound like big topics for six- and seven-year-olds, the Acropolis duo made it fun, interactive, and age-appropriate.

Using colorful visuals, kid-friendly examples, and a lot of energy, Al and Gehovan explained how homes are built, what makes a house eco-friendly, and why people invest in property. The children learned about solar panels, recycling-friendly buildings, and even got to “design” their dream homes using a model.

“It was amazing to see how curious and engaged the kids. They had some pretty thoughtful questions — and some wild dream home ideas! We wanted to plant the seed early that real estate isn’t just about buildings — it’s about people, communities, and how we take care of our environment” said Al Gueddar.

The visit was part of a broader community outreach effort by Acropolis to inspire the next generation to think about sustainability, urban development, home renovations, and the power of smart investment — all while having a bit of fun along the way.

A big thank you to Bird Rock Elementary for welcoming the Acropolis team and to the young students for their bright smiles and big ideas. Who knows? The next generation of real estate innovators might just be sitting in that first-grade classroom!
